Kathy Beetham / Certified ASL Interpreter

Kathy started out as an interpreter at East Carolina University when she was a college student.  She passed the national RID test at the age of 19.  Worked at East Carolina University for five years from 1980-1985 coordinating interpreters.  In 1985, she started out on her own as a contract interpreter and worked until 1991.  In 1991, she set up Interpreters, Inc. and started the first interpreting agency in the State of NC that provided Sign Language Interpreters.  Kathy has a CSC, OIC:C, SC:L-P Certification from RID, and is a licensed interpreter in the State of NC. Today, Kathy heads the group of ASL interpreters that serves DTI clients nationwide.
