Prior to co-founding Deaf-Talk, Dave founded in 1995 and was president of Quarry Machinery (QM). QM manufactured and commercialized a patented rock-crushing machine for use in quarries. Prior to QM, Dave owned and was president of Allied Equipment, a John Deere equipment, parts, and service sales distributor of construction equipment for central PA. Allied employed about 20. Dave attended the University of Missouri.
